Join us for our monthly meeting as we discuss progress of construction of the Neponset Trail and other issues along the Neponset River Greenway with staff from the Mass. Department of Conservation and Recreation, which manages it, and concerned citizens. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at rotating locations in communities of the Lower Neponset. The agenda is at

River Clean-up, Saturday, October 3, 2015
Help remove man-made debris from our favorite river, making it more scenic, boat-able, and wildlife-friendly!
We’ll meet at the Martini Shell Park on Truman Parkway in Hyde Park, where we’ll assign each volunteer a work location. Then volunteers will travel to their sites and work together to pull debris out of the river.
PLEASE DRESS FOR THE WEATHER!
It may be wet and windy, but we’re New Englanders. We can handle it!
Wear clothes that are waterproof, warm, and that you don’t mind getting dirty. Don’t forget a hat and work gloves! We’ll have warm drinks & snacks to keep you going.
Neponset Trail Ribbon Cutting, Thursday, October 15
Meet at 3:00 pm at the Martini Shell. Lots of dignitaries have been invited.
Pope John Paul II Park:
Pumpkin Float Tuesday, October 20
5:00 pm at the Hallet St. entrance to PJPII Park.
Volunteers are needed.
Appropriately-sized pumpkins are for sale at Lambert's in a special display.
